Avoid Injury with J-CAT Safety Covers for Post and Column Base Brackets
The J-CAP® safety cover is designed to easily fit over a variety of post and column base brackets. As a single cap, the J-CAP® will fit over most 4” wide brackets, while the 6”, and 8” brackets will require 2 J-CAP’s®.
Our J-CAP® safety covers are easy to install and can be pushed on by hand and secured in place with a provided locking cable – simply loop the locking cable through the nail holes and tighten!
Meant primarily for residential use, the post and column base brackets are a common fixture in new construction where a front or back patio is added. They are also often used when a patio is an addition to a pre-existing home.
