New Construction Safety Product Coming to ASSP Safety 2021 Expo
Temecula, CA September 1, 2021 – J-CAT Safety Products, an innovative newcomer to the construction safety industry will be showcasing their newest construction safety device at the ASSP Safety 2021 Conference and Expo.
The company’s signature product, the J-CAP®, is an OSHA-certified safety device that guards against injury or death due to impalements on exposed metal post brackets, metal forming stakes, and other similar hazards.
Previously, workers would place common buckets or even flower pots in overexposed brackets. But, J-CAT CEO and Founder, Peter J. Pulizzi envisioned a better and safer protection method. He and his engineers spent thousands of hours creating, testing, and perfecting the most effective solution on the market today. It has passed the intensive OSHA testing process and is now a certified device to protect against impalement-related injuries.

J-CAT Safety Products, Inc., a California-based company, has developed the J-CAP®. This industry-first product is designed to prevent accidents caused by exposed brackets, flat metal forming stakes, and strap-tie holdowns. The device is the ONLY OSHA-certified product for the application.
The J-CAP® aims to mitigate impalement injuries on job sites. The industry’s previous best practice was custom-made wood boxes, placing non-OSHA-certified plastic flower pots or common buckets over the exposed brackets.
